The subs on Opensubtitle do not sync correctly with this file. Probably need to wait for it to come out on DVD in the UK or US!

The subs at opensubtitle do not synch because they are mislabelled and not for haneke's 'amour'. they are for a taiwanese movie.
this is probably some sort of R5 pre-release (i believe russian subs are available). the dvd isn't due till March next year. hence the 'official' subs won't be due till march next year. we can only hope for some kind (french/russian) soul to post 'unofficial' subs in the meantime.

I'm sure that this is not a brrip, but a low-res rip of the Russian DVD that came out a few days ago on the Russian trackers.
There are other ones out there with proper DVD-resolution - or you can get the whole DVD9 like I did, turn it into an mkv and add the English subs.
A shame this was mislabeled - definitely reduces people's trust in a once reliable release 'group'.
And really I'd have thought they'd be doing AVC DVD rips now - to get the best res.

Why's the size so big. This torrent http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/7886390/Amour_(2012)_BRRip_ is just 700 mb. I always get confused in these situations. That is, should I follow the crowd or should I go with the obviously better choice of a smaller file when there's no mention of quality difference.
